That is a separate advanced path, not a step customers must complete after adding the app. Use sign-in and access help or advanced personal access.

Before you connect.
Do I need a separate ScanMySEO account?
No. Use your normal sign-in and review the requested access. A new connection does not create another allowance. New customers can follow normal registration before returning to their assistant.
Can I start an audit, or only read reports?
The full connection supports both. Starting still needs your permission, available account allowance, a valid public website and the service to be enabled. Connecting alone starts nothing.
Which reports can my assistant see?
Your assistant can access reports owned by your signed-in ScanMySEO account, narrowed by any restrictions you choose. Shared billing or a report-sharing link does not grant access to someone else’s private reports.
Do I need Report AI or Enhanced AI?
No. ChatGPT or Claude can explain your saved findings with its own service. Report AI and Enhanced AI are separate optional ScanMySEO actions, not required for a repair brief.
How do I disconnect?
Use My assistant access to revoke future access. Your assistant may retain information already received. Removing the app inside your assistant and revoking its ScanMySEO access are separate controls.
