Connect with your ScanMySEO account. The public directory link is not available here yet. The steps below explain the directory connection journey; publication is separate from account sign-in.
Add ScanMySEO from the directory
When the ScanMySEO directory listing is available for your account, open it and choose Connect. The button above opens the published listing when it is configured; absence of a public link does not mean a private connection is a public listing.
Sign in with your normal ScanMySEO account, review the requested permissions and approve access. Return to Claude and enable ScanMySEO for your conversation. Your websites and allowance come from your account; there is no second subscription-limit setup.
Ask your first question
“Find an appropriate saved audit for my website. Show the findings and evidence, explain the coverage and open the audit review. Do not run a new audit.”
ChatGPT and Claude manage their own connections. Both use the same ScanMySEO account allowance when you authorise that account. Additional actions require the corresponding permission, account eligibility and any required approval.
Need help?
Use normal account sign-in. Do not paste a personal access token into a chat or client-secret field. For a deliberately configured custom client, contact support for the separate advanced connection path. Custom client setup is not required after adding the published directory app.

Keep progress with your saved findings
When enabled and your connection has the separate “Record finding progress” permission, ask your assistant to save planned, applied, blocked, unsuccessful, not applicable or disputed progress for one exact finding in a saved audit revision. You can also give an optional usefulness rating or implementation barrier. This is voluntary and costs no scan allowance or AI credits.
Ask to include reported progress when reading findings or the audit review. Your immutable report, findings and health score remain unchanged. “Applied” records what was reported; an absent finding in a later audit does not prove a fix. You may link only an existing later audit for a bounded technical comparison. Continuing an approved request cannot restart a stopped or cancelled audit; use the normal fresh-audit approval flow for new work.
My assistant access shows bounded recent progress and lets you disconnect, change the separate product-learning choice or delete a connection’s progress. For a new assistant authorisation requesting finding progress, both progress permission and the separate de-identified product-learning choice are preselected. Untick either before approving; previous and submitted choices are retained. Existing connections are unchanged. Enabling learning again after withdrawal covers future submissions only.
