When an audit credit is used

Included and PAYG credits move through available → reserved → consumed. A reservation is consumed only after a meaningful crawl reaches the billable delivery threshold.

Automatic restoration

The reservation is released for invalid or unreachable sites, queue failures, full robots or bot blocking, internal ScanMySEO failure, user cancellation before meaningful work, or results with no more than one usable page.

PAYG tier integrity

The exact tier reserved is stored. A Small credit can only return as a Small credit. A larger credit is never used without explicit confirmation when a smaller tier would have been sufficient.
